welcome.

Thanks for stopping by. Take a look around and try to get to know me a little bit.
(That is, as much as is possible on a website.)

We spend a lot of our lives with people. Research demonstrates that those of us in connected, satisfying relationships will live longer, healthier, happier lives. More importantly, it shows that living in the midst of constant or high conflict can be detrimental to your health, not just your mood.

Not all conflict is created equal. Destructive conflict makes us feel distant and lonely, and productive conflict makes us feel closer, understood and secure. Conflict and discord are a natural part of all relationships, yet most of us grew up learning to avoid them or manage them predominantly in destructive ways.

My job is to help you untangle the unhelpful thoughts, ideas, and behaviors contributing to dissatisfying and frustrating interactions, and identify productive ways to navigate conflict that ultimately enhance your relationships, whether it is with a spouse, boss, child or employee.
